Nick Robins lecture at The Royal Geographical Society | The East India Company: Commerce, Conquest & Contraband

RobinsNick Robins, author of the fantastic The Corporation That Changed the World: How the East India Company Shaped the Modern Multinational (Pluto, 2012) will be giving a lecture on the exciting and controversial story of the East India Company, at the Royal Geographical Society in London, on Tuesday 21 January.

The event, supported by the wonderful Jeevika Trust (and billed as the 2014 Jeevika Lecture) will feature a High-class Indian Bazaar, in addition to Nick’s lecture, at which one can peruse and purchase a range of high-class Indian and other jewellery, artefacts, clothes, travel and other services, etc.

The Logistics

The event will take place at the Royal Geographical Society, 1 Kensington Gore, London, SW7 2AR, on 21st January. Doors open at 6pm and the lecture will begin at 7pm.
