Video: Victoria Brittain guest interview on Democracy Now

Victoria Brittain, author of Shadow Lives: The Forgotten Women of the War on Terror (Pluto, 2013) has appeared as a guest on ‘Democracy Now‘ this week.

In the interview she discusses the people and stories documented in her new book. It is especially relevant and poignant given the context of an ongoing hunger-strike being carried out by almost all detainees.
